KiteMail is built for love — not harm. Please read this before you fly.
KiteMail is designed for genuine personal messages between people who share a real connection. It is not a tool for harassment, unwanted contact, or any form of harm. Misuse will result in permanent removal.
KiteMail uses a layered system to make sure only the right person reads your message:
This means a stranger cannot read a message that isn't meant for them — unless the questions were written carelessly (e.g. "what colour is the sky?").
The anonymous option exists for shy hearts, not cowardly ones. It's for the person who can't bring themselves to say "it's me" — but wants their beloved to feel something real. Please don't use anonymity to say things you wouldn't say with your name attached.
If someone has clearly expressed they do not want contact from you, please respect that. A kite can be a beautiful thing — but sending one to someone who has explicitly asked you not to reach out is a form of harassment, not romance. KiteMail supports reporting of such misuse.
Any message containing threats, hate speech, sexual content directed at minors, explicit non-consensual material, or content designed to harm will be removed. We reserve the right to remove any content and block any sender found in violation of these guidelines.
If you received a kite that made you feel unsafe, threatened, or harassed — please contact us. We take reports seriously and will act swiftly. You can reach us at safety@kitemail.app.
